How to temporarily shutdown/disable VIPRE Advanced Security

There may be times when it becomes necessary to temporarily disable or shut down VIPRE.


Shutdown VIPRE:

From the System tray at the lower right-hand corner of your desktop, right-click the VIPRE icon and select Shutdown VIPRE.

Re-enable VIPRE:

There are three methods you can use to re-enable your VIPRE protection.

  1. Double-click the VIPRE desktop icon.2a.png
  2. Click the Start menu, open the VIPRE folder and select VIPRE.  2aa.png
  3. Restart the computer.3a.png

When any of these options are completed, you will see the VIPRE icon in the System Tray to indicate that VIPRE is working.
