How to Repair VIPRE

To run a Repair Install on VIPRE, follow the instructions below.

  • Windows XP - Click Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.
  • Windows Vista/7 - Click Start > Control Pane l> Uninstall a Program or Programs and Features.
  • Windows 8 - From the Start Menu (Tiles Screen), type "Control" and a search will come up as you are typing. Click the Control Panel option, then Uninstall a Program or Programs and Features.
  • Windows 10 - From the search bar on the bottom left of the screen, type "Control" and a search will come up as you are typing. Click the Control Panel option, then Uninstall a Program or Programs and Features.

  • A list of programs should be displayed. Find VIPRE and click Uninstall or Change or Change/Remove to begin the repair.

  • A prompt will appear asking to Remove or Repair VIPRE. ChooseRepair
  • Click the Install button to begin the repair process.

  • After the repair process, click Finish, then restart the computer if prompted.
