To configure Email Protection:
1. Click Manage, then click Email.
2. Switch on Email Protection.
3. Click Manage Email Apps to choose the email app(s) you use.
4. If your email app requires you to change your ports, you can configure POP3 and SMTP.
Note: SSL and TLS security protocols are only supported with Microsoft Outlook.
- Inbound (POP3): Set this number to match both the POP3 number that your email provider uses AND what is set for your email application, as applicable. The default POP3 port is 110.
- Outbound (SMTP): Set this number to match both the SMTP number that your email provider uses AND what is set for your email application, as applicable. The default SMTP port is 25.
5. We recommend you switch on Spam Filtering for Outlook and Anti-Phishing if you are using Email Protection.
