VIPRE Internet Shield VPN provides the ability to reset your password in one of two ways:
- The Password Reset Tool, available on the login screen of the account page.
- The Password Change Form, available after successfully logging into the account page.
For either option, you will need to go to https://myvpn.vipre.com/ to begin.
The Password Reset Tool
Purpose: Use if you have forgotten your password and cannot log into the account page.
1) Click on the "Forgot Password >>" link at the bottom of the account page. It links you to the following URL - https://myvpn.vipre.com/forgot
2) On the next screen, enter the email address associated with your account and click Submit at the bottom.
3) Once complete, you will receive an email with a password reset link that will allow you to change your password.
Please Note:
- This does not work for inactive accounts
- Changes can take up to 5 minutes to be reflected on all VPN servers
The Password Change Form
Purpose: Use if you know your existing password but want/need to change it.
After logging into the account page, the first page you see will allow you to change your password. Please type in your new password, once in each password field. Submit the changes once complete.
