The Firewall in VIPRE Advanced Security may prompt you from time to time if a New Network Location is safe to use.
You can set up how VIPRE interacts with the networks you commonly use. Trusted networks are places you trust, like your home. Public networks are generally less secure (such as coffee shops or airport lobbies).
The VIPRE program stores the results of these settings so you can review and/or change them. You can get to these settings by clicking Manage > Firewall and then scrolling to Networks and clicking the Manage Networks button.
From this screen you will have the option to change if the network is Trusted or Public. You also have the option to remove Network settings you have made.
Note: Removing these from the VIPRE program will not change your ability to access and connect to the network and only removes VIPRE's knowledge of if it is a Trusted or Public network. Any settings you have made, such as entering the network information into the Windows Operating System, will still remain.
