One of the great services that VIPRE offers is the ability to schedule a scan on your computer. Your computer will have to be powered on during the scheduled times, however, it can be on sleep mode.
To setup a scheduled scan follow the directions below:
1. Open VIPRE and click the Schedule Scan button to open the Schedule Scan options.
2. Click on the New Scan button.
- There are several options to configure your scheduled scan.
- Scan name?- Enter the name for the scan.
- What Scan Type? - Select from a Quick Scan, Full Scan, or a Custom Scan.
- When to Scan? - Choose from whatever day or hour combination you wish.
- Scan Options?- Rapid Scan saves time running the scan by skipping previously known safe files.
3. Click the Done button to save your settings and create your new scheduled scan.
